Big Brother

Rusty........ he taught me how to walk. He was there before I was born. He was the wisest dog of all. Knowing the English language.

Once my parents were talking about how they needed grass seed for the front yard (cuz the only thing that grew in front yard was weeds xD ). Well, we let Rusty out every night to prowl he always came home w/ surprises for me like skates and toys and such (and my Rusty Bear) be cause he knew i was a little girl, he actually did teach me how to walk. Well this night was different. We woke up expecting to find a toy for me, instead of a toy there was an unopened bag of grass seed. My parents could never explain how he knew what grass seed was, let alone carry an entire bag and not spill a single seed!

He taught me how to crawl and walk! He did! He was like a big brother. Oh! Every night when we feed him, he would take his bowl and hid it in the backyard, know one could ever find it. So Mom would tell him to "go get your dish Rusty!" and he would, every night!!

Oh!! Mom once told me that he was a sickly little puppy when they rescued him. If I'm remembering right, he was the runt...........

My sister never got to know him my parents had him put down the very year she was born........ I really wish she could have met him.

The story of the day he was put down (1993)

I said goodbye to him like i did every day when i went off to school. I came home...... no Rusty.......................... I was terrified of dogs for years to come after that until we got Beau, a Leo (short for Leonbergur) I'll post a pic of him in a min.

(will tell more of his story when i get home from work and after i do some homework ugh!! college homework is ugh!!)
