was going to shade this but ive already pulled an allnighter working on this :'c

ANYWHO

this awesome creature is a nympka! an interesting little alien animal that mostly feeds on vegetation. im assuming they are mammalian, but i dont know too much about the species yet. (it belongs to )

i do know that these guys are hella fun to draw! i sketched on earlier this week to see if id be interested in adopting this guy, sure enough he covers a good 2 or 3 pages of my sketchbook now. keeping my fingers crossed that he will be able to grace my sketchbook even more!! hes just such a fun character to work with and full of expression. overall i guess these guys are just fun to draw in general because of the anatomy and the way they flow through the page.

while he is mostly cautious, he can be somewhat of a smartass which gets him into trouble. (as much of a smartass as an animal can be at least haha). hes not quite as bold as one would think, probably because hes wised up over time after quite a few mishaps and run-ins with would be predators. he likes to laze around in the sun and when not foraging for food or getting into trouble he likes to be lazy. he lives in a pack of 7 other nypka's, however he is not the dominate male of the pack, nor is he omega, he is simply your average nypka.

backstory will come once i find out if im lucky enough to adopt him!
